HIKING: Beavertail Hill State Park

Description

The 65-acre Beavertail Hill State Park is located on the beautiful Clark Fork River. The park is an excellent fishing location, as well a common destination for canoeists. Camping, birding, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing are other popular activities here. The park provides a walking trail that will take approximately a half of an hour to hike. It takes you through a canopy of cottonwoods.

Directions

Beavertail Hill State Park is located 26 miles southeast of Missoula on I-90 at exit #130. Then .25 mile south on Bonita Station Road to the park entrance.
